Found a great and easy to navigate walk over the summer, from Glasson Dock, near Lancaster and it seemed to come complete with a loopy sheepdog. Couldn’t resist talking some pics and using them for a painting. Started off at the main car park and just wondered up through the streets to the coast road. Followed the road down a hill to a sharp bend, then up past a blissfully peaceful caravan park and onto a sheep/cattle track past a farm and to the sea front. Then just followed the coastal path eventually ending up at an old priory. At the start of the path there’s a gate and on it hung a dog’s collar and lead. I hope the dog turned up. Strange sight halfway along the path, a kid’s beach spade part buried in the concrete sea wall. Good walk. Good views and good ice cream back at Glasson Dock.
